Автобус з дітьми потрапив у ДТП на Закарпатті: з’їхав у кювет по дорозі до Карпат, є постраждалі

In the early morning, a road accident occurred in the Zakarpattia region involving a bus carrying children on a winter vacation in the Carpathians. Due to adverse weather conditions, the vehicle skidded off the road and overturned, injuring several passengers.

The accident occurred at around 8:36 on the section of the road between the city of Perechyn and the village of Zarichovo. The Mercedes Sprinter minibus carrying children lost control and ended up in a ditch. According to medical workers, the main cause of the incident was ice and a slippery road surface caused by partial snowmelt.

At the scene, first aid was provided by doctors from the emergency brigade No. 401. They quickly assessed the number of victims and invited an additional team to assist. A paramedic who got into this situation while returning home after duty also came to the rescue.

Six children aged 8 to 14 and one adult woman were injured in the accident. All of them received the necessary medical care. One of the boys, who received moderate injuries, was hospitalized in the Mukachevo Regional Children’s Hospital. The other participants in the accident were taken to medical institutions in Uzhhorod; their condition is satisfactory, and there is no threat to life.

Medical experts once again call on drivers to be careful on winter roads, especially in mountainous areas, because even in the absence of active precipitation, the road surface can remain slippery. Drivers are advised to reduce speed, maintain a safe distance, and take responsibility for their passengers’ safety.
