Ukraine and politics in the Epstein documents: containing 3 million pages
On January 30, 2026, the US Department of Justice released documents known as the “Epstein Files”, which contain numerous references to Ukraine and Ukrainian politicians. Among the more than 3 million pages, the name of former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych appears 47 times.
The documents, which cover global political processes, contain analytical reports, media reviews, and e-mail correspondence. Still, no evidence of personal ties between Yanukovych and Jeffrey Epstein or his entourage was found. The word “Ukraine” is mentioned 1,978 times, mostly in the context of the 2014 Revolution of Dignity, Yanukovych’s escape, and Russia’s actions.
One of the messages dates back to January 2011, a year after Yanukovych was elected president. In it, Epstein mentions a “Ukrainian Lunch” in Davos, organized by businessman Viktor Pinchuk, which was attended by Yanukovych, then-President of Poland Bronisław Komorowski, and financier George Soros, among others. Epstein wondered whether he could attend the event without an official invitation.
In addition to Yanukovych, other references to Ukraine include the names of former President Leonid Kuchma and Paul Manafort. No compromising materials were found regarding these individuals.
Slidstvo.Info investigators also discovered correspondence between Epstein and a Ukrainian woman, Anastasia N., who, from 2015 to 2019, was involved in selecting young girls for Epstein, incurring expenses for salons, flights, and equipment.
The files also mention Ukrainian business assets and investments. For example, in 2017, he discussed a possible deal in the Ukrainian banking sector with a Greek top manager and considered purchasing a villa in Lviv.
For reference, it is worth noting that in connection with the release of the Epstein files, an investigation was launched against the former Prince Andrew, as well as searches of his residences. Other famous figures, such as Noam Chomsky, Bill Gates, and Donald Trump, also tried to comment on their connections with Epstein.
