28-year-old Lucy Souderton from Birmingham, who works in one of the leading cruise companies, told me about it.

Lucy noted that many tourists, while on board the exquisite liner, consider it normal to go barefoot on all the ship’s premises, ignoring the basic rules of hygiene and etiquette.

It shares the impressions of how crew members often secretly make fun of passengers who afford such behavior. “These people walk freely without shoes, theaters, and other public areas as if they are their own home. It looks normal for them, but in reality, their behavior looks very unpleasant,” Lucy comments.

The girl calls for future tourists to always wear shoes when they leave their cabin. It is not only the observance of hygienic standards but also the showing respect for the team and other guests on board.

Lucy also emphasizes another critical piece of advice: “The worst mistake you can make during the cruise is to be impolite with crew members. You never know when their help is needed.”
