Fines from the CCC may not be applied: evaders have a chance to avoid liability

Ukrainian legislation establishes clear time limits for punishing those who violate military registration. Lawyers indicate in which cases administrative liability can be canceled.

Fines for failure to appear for a summons or untimely updating data range from 17 to 25.5 thousand hryvnias.

For the violator to be held administratively liable, the Territorial Recruitment Center (TCC) must adhere to two critical timeframes. According to current legislation, a fine can be imposed within three months from the moment the violation is detected. At the same time, the TCC is also obliged to impose a fine no later than a year from the moment the offense was committed.

Lawyers emphasize that both conditions must be met simultaneously; only in this case does the TCC have the right to impose fines. If a conscript has received a resolution imposing a fine, he is given 15 days to pay voluntarily. After this period, the information will be transferred to the executive service, which will lead to a doubling of the fine, as well as the possibility of blocking bank accounts and seizing property.

We will remind you that we previously reported on the mobilization of reserved persons and their possible participation in the lists of the CCC, despite the presence of a deferral, as well as on new mobilization criteria, as a result of which the CCC is updating the lists of conscripts, putting three separate categories at risk.
