Lviv developer-MP owes city 6.5 million UAH: court supports city hall
The Commercial Court of the Lviv Region ordered LLC “Lviv Investment Company” to pay approximately UAH 6.5 million to the city budget as a debt for a share contribution. The developer is connected to the Lviv City Council deputy from “European Solidarity” Nazariy Berbetsa.
The case concerns the construction of the residential complex “Malogoloskivski Pahorby,” which the company began in 2017. Then, it agreed with the city council, committing to contribute financial funds to the development of Lviv’s engineering and social infrastructure. However, despite the completion of construction and the sale of apartments, the corresponding payment to the budget was never made.
According to the LMR legal department, the court approved the prosecutor’s office’s claim on May 30, obliging the developer to repay the debt. This decision has not yet become final – the company has the opportunity to appeal it.
LLC “Lviv Investment Company” operates under the brand “New Home.” The company’s co-owners are Nazariy Berbetsya, Taras Didyk, and Oleksandr Poternak. In 2019, city council deputies partially exempted the company from paying almost UAH 9 million in share contributions, as it had built 500 meters of a road in the microdistrict with its funds. Now, the court demands the return of the remaining amount.
A decision was also made in Kyiv to return the lands of “Galera” to the community, although the complex itself continues to function.
