Ukrainians will be awarded two pensions at the same time: who will receive increased payments?

In Ukraine, certain citizens are entitled to receive two pension payments simultaneously under specific conditions. Independent pension consultant Serhiy Korobkin reported this.

According to current legislation, a person can usually receive only one pension. However, this rule does not apply to persons who have had a disability group since childhood. These citizens can receive social assistance in connection with a disability and a pension in the event of the loss of a breadwinner.

The expert noted that even if such a person is an adult but incapacitated, he can claim both payments if his parents or the closest relative who took care of him dies.

There are also cases when Ukrainians can receive up to six pension payments; this is possible if a person goes abroad for permanent residence. However, to proceed, you must submit an appropriate application to the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

Earlier, the media reported that the Pension Fund plans to revise the mechanism for calculating pensions, which could result in some citizens losing part of their payments. In addition, it was reported that there is a threat of suspension of pension payments.

Additionally, pensioners can receive an extra 2,000 hryvnia if they meet specific conditions.
