Weather forecast in Ukraine for June 15: rain and thunderstorms, where the lowest temperature is expected

On Sunday, June 15, most regions of Ukraine are expected to experience rain and thunderstorms, except for the western regions, where precipitation is not anticipated. According to the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, the weather is expected to be cloudy with occasional clearings, and the air temperature will remain comfortable during the day. However, a sharp drop in temperature is possible in some places at night.

According to weather forecasters, on June 15, cloudy weather with short-term rains and thunderstorms is expected in most regions. In Kyiv, daytime temperatures will fluctuate between 21 °C and 23°C, and at night, they will drop to 11 °C to 13 °C. Rains are possible in the capital with periodic clearings, but the weather will remain generally unstable.

The coldest is in the Carpathians, where the temperature at night can drop to as low as +4°C. This is explained by the arrival of Arctic air, which gradually lowers the temperature at night and is also accompanied by cooler daytime indicators.

Sharp cooling: cyclone and Arctic air masses

On the weekend of June 14-15, not only rains and thunderstorms are expected, but also a significant drop in temperature, especially in the western and central regions. This is due to the intensification of cyclones and the invasion of cold Arctic air. The temperature at night in west Ukraine will drop to +8…+10°C, which is unnatural for this time of year.
