Police prosecute ”Mom’s Scratch” for drifting on BMW in Kyiv
Despite the long-running war in Ukraine and constant shelling, some citizens behave as if nothing is happening. Recently, in the Podilskyi district of Kyiv, a young BMW driver staged a night drifting session, endangering other road users and residents.
After several attempts to evade the police, the man was quickly detained. During communication with law enforcement officers, the driver exhibited impudent and aggressive behavior, indicating a disregard for the law.
Additionally, it was discovered that the car had counterfeit license plates, prompting investigators from the Kyiv Main Police Department to be called to the scene for further investigation.
Law enforcement officers emphasize that such drivers pose a danger to others, and it will not be possible to avoid responsibility.
In addition, a 26-year-old resident of the Kyiv region was detained for organizing schemes that allowed avoiding military service. It is known that he offered conscripts “employment” at critical infrastructure enterprises for further booking and removal from the wanted list. For his “services,” the man demanded $9,000 for joining the enterprise’s staff and another $5,500 for removal from the wanted list.
