Andriy Dzhedzhula demonstrated how he shot down the “shaheeds” during the night attack on Kyiv
Showman Andriy Dzhedzhula told about the night attack on Kyiv, during which his unit shot down enemy “Shahed” drones.
Last year, the presenter joined a volunteer unit specializing in air defense. Dzhedzhula noted that his shifts are usually held in a calm atmosphere, but this time, there were serious challenges during massive shelling.
“Unfortunately, today I did not manage to spend the night peacefully. The last three months on my shifts were quiet, but not this time! I did not have to sleep,” the showman shared.
He reported that more than 500 enemy objects were recorded on radar, approaching the capital from different directions and operating at high altitudes. Most of them were not subject to the action of machine guns, so multiple launch rocket systems had to be used to destroy them.
“We counted over 500 targets per shift in our summary information, coming from different directions almost non-stop,” the host added.
In October 2024, Jejula announced his joining the unit that secures Ukrainian skies from enemy drones, after two weeks of training and acquiring the necessary skills to perform combat missions.
