Indonesian man becomes world famous after unusual wedding to rice cooker that ends in divorce after four days
The new series based on the Harry Potter books has already cast an actor to play Voldemort. According to a source at Redanian Intelligence, this information is being kept under wraps until the premiere, although the Dark Lord will appear in several episodes.
The first and second seasons of the series will consist of six episodes, but the number of episodes in future seasons may increase to eight. Filming for the first season has begun and will last until May 2026, while the second season is planned to be filmed from July 2026 to May 2027.
One of the reasons delaying production is the restrictions on underage actors, as the law limits the number of hours children can work per day, which impacts the filming schedule.
The first episode of the series promises to end with a scene where Hagrid and the first-year students get to Hogwarts by boat.
The series is scheduled to premiere in 2027 and will be available to stream on HBO and HBO Max.
The lead role of Harry Potter has been given to Dominic McLoughlin, with Arabella Stanton playing Hermione and Alastair Stout playing Ron. Nick Frost will reprise his role as Rubeus Hagrid. HBO recently released the first photos of the actor from the filming process.
