Продукти, що провокують неприємний запах тіла, не вирішить жоден дезодорант

No deodorant will solve the problems caused by products that cause unpleasant body odor

Have you ever wondered why your natural scent changes over time? The reason isn’t always hygiene. It could be related to what you eat.

Garlic and Onions

These well-known foods leave behind a lingering odor. The sulfur compounds found in garlic and onions can enter the bloodstream and be excreted through the skin, resulting in a strong body odor that can persist for hours.

Spices (Curry, Cumin, Fenugreek)

Bright spices like curry, cumin, or fenugreek contain volatile substances that, when consumed, enter the bloodstream and are excreted through the sweat glands. This can result in a persistent scent that leaves a lasting mark on your skin, hair, and clothing.

Red Meat

Eating red meat can also cause a change in body odor. It is difficult to digest, which leads to the formation of compounds that, when interacting with bacteria on the skin, can enhance the smell of sweat. Studies show that vegetarians tend to have a more pleasant body odor than meat-eaters.

Cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts)

While these vegetables are very healthy, they contain sulfur compounds that break down into hydrogen sulfide during digestion. This substance can be excreted in sweat or breath, giving an odor similar to rotten eggs. But this is not a reason to avoid these vegetables, as they are rich in fiber and vitamins. If odor becomes a problem, you can reduce portions or change the method of preparation.
