Some Ukrainians will receive a new format of gas bills: who is subject to the changes

Paper receipts for gas are becoming history. Now all consumers are being transferred to electronic format, which should make the payment process simpler and more economical in terms of resource use.

Naftogaz of Ukraine has made changes to the bill distribution system. Previously, pensioners traditionally received paper receipts in mailboxes, but now all documents will be accepted in online format. This step will not only reduce paper costs but also speed up and facilitate the payment process.

To take advantage of the new features, you need to register or log in to your account on the website. In the “Settings” section, select the “Receive bills online” item. Thus, electronic receipts will be received monthly not only on the website, but also in chatbots in Viber and Telegram. Payment can be made through any banking application or special platforms.

“If the bill is paid by the 12th, the paper receipt may not be received at all,” the company’s representatives remind.

The online document will appear on the 10th of the month.

These innovations apply to all consumers, regardless of age. However, for the older generation, it is essential to have clear instructions to avoid confusion. If you or your loved ones are not yet used to electronic formats, it is worth asking for help from younger people – it will take a little time, but it will significantly simplify further payment.
