Minimum pension of 3,758 hryvnias: which Ukrainians will receive increased payments?

In 2025, the government updated the minimum pension payments, establishing new guarantees. For several categories of citizens, a pension of UAH 3,758 is provided. NV Business reports this.

According to the new rules, the state is obliged to provide a minimum pension for certain groups of older adults. The amount of UAH 3,758 is intended for the most socially vulnerable pensioners who have the required insurance experience.

According to the conditions, non-working pensioners who have reached the age of 65 can count on increased payments if men have at least 35 years of experience, and women, at least 30. Pensions for citizens over 80 are also growing, provided that for men, the insurance experience is at least 25 years, and for women, 20 years.

Other age categories also have their minimum pension amounts. For example, pensioners aged 70 to 80 with whole insurance experience will receive at least 3,613 UAH.

Those who do not have enough years of experience will be paid an amount proportionally calculated based on the years worked, but not less than 3,323 UAH. In general, the minimum pension for non-working pensioners in 2025 will be 3,038 UAH.

The last time pensions were increased was on March 1, 2025, and from July 1, no new revisions and indexations are planned.

In addition, pensioners aged 70 and over may receive additional pension supplements depending on age: 300 UAH at 70 years, 456 UAH at 75 years, 570 UAH at 80 years, if the basic pension is less than 10,340 UAH.

According to the rules, after reaching the age of 75, the actual increase in the allowance will be UAH 156, since UAH 300 is already included from the age of 70.
