For money — from wanted persons, for free — to the army: a scheme was discovered in the CCC in Kropyvnytskyi

The State Bureau of Investigation reported suspicion to an official of the territorial recruitment and social support center in Kropyvnytskyi. It was established that he, using official data, made changes to the database of search for military conscripts for money.

This official headed a social work group and offered men the opportunity to be excluded from the search for $1,000. According to the investigation, in case of refusal, he threatened to be drafted into military service.

According to preliminary information, the official was able to “help” at least ten people. He was charged under Part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which concerns receiving an illegal benefit by an official.

The sanction for this article provides for a penalty of up to ten years in prison. Currently, the issue of choosing a preventive measure and removal from office is being resolved. The Kropyvnytskyi Specialized Prosecutor’s Office is monitoring the process in the Field of Defense of the Southern Region.
