How can a pensioner change the method of receiving a pension?

Pensioners in Ukraine have the opportunity to change the method of receiving their pensions. This may include switching from delivery via Ukrposhta to payments to a bank account or changing bank details. The Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in the Donetsk region provided information on the procedure for such changes.

An application can be submitted in two ways: in person at a Pension Fund branch or remotely via the PFU electronic services web portal.

To apply online, the following documents are required:

passport scan;
identification code;
bank account details (IBAN).

To apply remotely, log in to the PFU portal using a qualified electronic signature (QES). In the menu, find the “Regarding pension provision” section, then select “Making changes to the pension file”. Then click “Application to change the payment method”. Fill out the form, attach scans of all necessary documents, and check the entered data. After that, sign the application using the KEP and send it to the PFU.

Monitoring the status of the application

After sending the application, you can track its status in your account in the “My applications” section, allowing you to control the entire review process.
