On US Independence Day, a woman from Drohobych will perform in a dress designed by Zelenska

Ukrainian Andriana Puschak, originally from Drohobych, will represent Illinois at the famous Ms World America 2025 beauty pageant, which will be held in Miami from August 24 to 28. She will compete in the 30+ category.

This year’s pageant is mainly symbolic, as the event’s first day coincides with Ukraine’s Independence Day. On this day, Andriana will appear on stage wearing a dress by Ukrainian designer Elvira Hasanova, who has already gained popularity among Ukraine’s first ladies.

Andriana noted that for her, participating in the pageant has a deeper meaning than just a title or a crown. She seeks to inspire women to believe in themselves and realize their potential. “A true queen has value and a mission,” she shared her thoughts on the purpose of participating in the pageant.

The collaboration with the designer arose after Andriana’s victory at the Ms. Petite USA Universe 2025 competition, where she garnered the attention of the press and media.

Andriana Puschak is also a leader of the Ukrainian diaspora and a beauty expert. She has a degree in psychology and is the champion of Ukraine, Italy, and Spain in permanent makeup. After moving to the USA in 2022, she quickly developed her career in the beauty industry, winning the title of Ms Illinois in 2025 and taking first place in the “People’s Choice” nomination.

It is essential to note that the organizers of the “Miss Ukraine 2023” competition conducted a thorough check on the participants, revealing suspicions of ties to Russia and the use of escorts, which led to the disqualification of three participants.
