The most popular majors and universities according to the results of the admission campaign

The master’s degree admission campaign in Ukraine has concluded. According to the results of the targeted placement of the state order, 31,211 applicants received recommendations for budget places. The Ministry of Education and Science reported that the funding is aimed at training personnel who are most needed for the restoration and modernization of the country.

In particular, the emphasis is on areas such as pedagogy, engineering, IT, energy, and construction. According to the Minister of Education, Oksen Lisovoy, the targeted placement algorithm combines the motivation of applicants with the real demands of the economy and the labor market. “Our goal is for graduates to quickly return to their communities with knowledge that contributes to development and security,” he noted.

According to the EDEBO, this year, more than 100 thousand electronic cabinets were created, and the number of applications submitted exceeded 196 thousand. At the same time, more than half of them, namely 106 thousand, were for budget places. The average applicant submitted two applications out of a possible fifteen.

Applicants who have received budget recommendations must confirm their choice and fulfill all requirements for enrollment by August 30. Final enrollment will take place by September 1, and for contract education, by September 30.
