The weather forecaster indicated when the air temperature is expected to drop in Ukraine
The anticyclone is bringing back a real summer to Ukraine with dry, sunny weather and high temperatures.
Forecaster Natalka Didenko reported on the abnormal temperature readings expected in Ukraine. According to her, the heat will last for several days, and a cooling can be scheduled after September 7.
“Tomorrow in Ukraine it will be dry and hot. The anticyclone will provide maximum temperatures at +28 to +32°C. During Saturday-Sunday, the thermometer will rise to +30 +35°C, although a decrease to +24 +27°C is expected in the west on August 31. Kyiv will meet a temperature of 28 degrees without precipitation. The end of summer will be abnormally hot, although a certain decrease in temperature is predicted later,” she noted.
On Friday, August 29, the anticyclone will continue to affect the weather, and no precipitation is expected. The wind will be variable in direction on the Left Bank, and south on the Right Bank at a speed of 5–10 m/s. The night temperature will fluctuate between +12 °C and +18°C, and the daytime temperature will reach +27 °C to +32°C. In the western regions, values of +33 °C to +35°C are possible.
On Saturday, August 30, clear and hot weather is expected in Ukraine. Only in the extreme west, short-term thunderstorms may be observed in the evening. The wind is mainly south, 5–10 m/s. The night temperature will drop to +14 to +19°C, and during the day it will fluctuate between +30 to +35°C.
On Sunday, August 31, hot weather will continue in most regions. Short-term thunderstorms are possible only during the day in the west and partly in the northern areas. The wind is southwest, with a transition to west, 5–10 m/s. The night air temperature will be +15 to +20°C, and during the day in the west and north – +26 to +31°C, in other regions – +32 to +37°C.
