Trump intends to discuss the issue with Putin and hinted at a possible meeting with Zelensky

Donald Trump, the US President, shared a photo on social networks in which he, together with Vladimir Putin, is watching the flight of American strategic bombers B-2 Spirit and F-35 fighters over Alaska.

This information was published by the Telegram channel “Monaco Battalion”, referring to other sources.

This gesture by Trump took place after news from Western media outlets accusing him of having a difficult conversation with European leaders. Many publications emphasize that the situation during the negotiations was tense, and Trump probably does not support the introduction of new sanctions against Russia.

The president himself said that he plans to meet with Putin in the near future and once again emphasized their “good relationship”, which, in his opinion, can contribute to resolving the conflict in Ukraine.

A representative of the Trump team, Witkoff, noted that the president is ready to organize trilateral talks with the participation of Volodymyr Zelensky and Vladimir Putin. Still, specific points regarding the format of the meeting have not yet been discussed.

The Kremlin, in turn, reported that at the moment, there are no specific agreements on the meeting. Spokesman Dmitry Peskov added that if necessary, potential meetings can be quickly organized.

Recall that a meeting of the “Coalition of the Determined” was recently held in Paris – an association of about 30 countries, mainly European, working to provide security guarantees for Ukraine. The event was attended by leaders of many countries, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. The main goal was to agree on reliable security guarantees for Ukraine in the event of a peace agreement, as well as coordinate support at the military, political, and sanctions levels. In particular, the issues of strengthening sanctions, support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the return of prisoners were discussed. The leaders emphasized that the most important guarantee of security is a mighty army of Ukraine. The event was held at the Elysee Palace, where some representatives participated remotely. Additionally, during the meeting, bilateral negotiations were conducted between high-ranking officials from the EU, the US, and other countries.

After the coalition’s work was completed, its participants had a telephone conversation with Trump, during which issues of further support for Ukraine and coordination of security guarantees were discussed, and common positions were agreed upon for future international steps. This meeting and conversation with Trump were part of efforts to counter Russian aggression and ensure peace in Ukraine.

During the discussions, new directions of possible Russian aggression on the front became known, while Europe is working on the issue of security guarantees, Russia is sending troops to Eastern Ukraine.
