Delay to support a wife with a disability

The general mobilization in Ukraine establishes the conditions under which a deferral can be obtained. One of the grounds is the need for a disability relative.

Right to defer in the event of a wife’s disability.

The lawyers were addressed by a husband who asked if he could take this opportunity if his wife had a second group disability. The lawyer confirmed that in such circumstances, he is entitled to a deferral, which can be applied through the electronic service “Reserve+”.

Documents required

To confirm the right to deferral, you must provide the following documents:

marriage certificate;
a document confirming the wife’s disability.
The documents that can be presented are included:

MSEC certificate in the form approved by the Ministry of Health;
excerpt from the decision of the expert commission, which evaluates the functioning of the person;
certificate of a person with disabilities (pension or social);
a certificate for persons with disabilities who are not entitled to a pension or social assistance (in the form of the Ministry of Social Policy).
Thus, if the wife has a disability, it is a sufficient basis for delay from mobilization. It is essential to provide the relevant documents so that the territorial assembly center can enroll the individual in the category entitled to temporary dismissal in a legitimate manner.

The delay from mobilization is provided only after the submission of documents and the decision of the territorial center of acquisition and social support. Suppose a public institution provides reasonable information through the action portal or electronic report. In that case, the military personnel are automatically transferred to general registration in the register, and their reservation shall be canceled.
