Finland expressed dissatisfaction with Ukrainian refugees: living conditions are too comfortable

In Finland, employees of a family-type orphanage that accepts migrant children from Ukraine and other countries have received threats due to the allegedly “luxurious” living conditions.

According to information received from social networks, comments containing hate speech and individual threats have caused a wave of negativity. Solum CEO Lina Piipari noted that the rejection of this institution began after publications on networks where people expressed indignation about the appearance of the house, which is considered too expensive.

Even among parliamentarians, the question arose why some deputies consider such housing unacceptable.

This critical context concerns a cottage of about 300 square meters located on the shore of a lake. The house, which previously belonged to a famous football player, is now rented by a commercial organization that won a state tender for maintaining the children’s institution at the lowest price. Currently, this house is home to unaccompanied minors, including children from Ukraine.

We want to remind you that Finland is trying to hold Russia accountable for environmental crimes, playing an essential role in international affairs.
