GUR hacked the servers of the occupation administration of Crimea: Ukraine received over 100 TB of information
Ukrainian military intelligence conducted a successful operation that allowed it to penetrate the digital systems of the occupation authorities in the temporarily occupied Crimea, gaining access to more than 100 terabytes of confidential information.
According to information received from intelligence sources, numerous documents were discovered, including official correspondence of the “head of Crimea” Sergei Aksenov, as well as materials from the departments of the occupation administration. Data on the deportation of Ukrainian children is considered especially important.
The received documents contain information on the illegal movement of children from the temporarily occupied Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhia regions to Crimea and Russia. The information includes the names of the children, their dates of birth, data on guardians, addresses of their residence and educational institutions. These materials were transferred to Ukrainian law enforcement agencies to investigate war crimes.
The intelligence also gained access to databases related to the “special military operation”. Among the materials found are lists of Russian servicemen, detailed information about their families, registers of the dead and convicted, as well as data on payments for “graves” for the dead. These documents also contain information on the provision of land plots to the occupiers in Crimea.
Some files indicate that the fuel shortage in Crimea is due to attacks on oil refineries in Russia.
According to sources, this is the second successful operation that allowed access to the information systems of Crimean “authority” structures. After the previous operation, FSB officers were sent to Crimea to try to find the “mole”, but their efforts were unsuccessful.
At the same time, strikes on military facilities in Crimea continue. A representative of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, Serhiy Bratchuk, reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are actively destroying air defense elements and ground targets, in particular, essential railway junctions. He emphasized that the attacks on Crimea are a response to the activity of Russian troops in the summer.
On September 21, the special forces unit “Pryvid” destroyed two Russian Be-12 “Chaika” amphibious aircraft and one Mi-8 multi-purpose helicopter in Crimea, which was the first case of the destruction of a Be-12 during hostilities.
In addition, Ukrainian intelligence carried out strikes on several more enemy targets, destroying three Mi-8 helicopters and a Nebo-U radar station.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky noted that Russia is testing Europe’s readiness to repel attacks by launching various types of drones into its territory. He indicated that this is an attempt to identify weaknesses in the security systems of NATO countries.
