Russia is preparing a new massive strike on Ukraine, having accumulated hundreds of drones
In the near future, Ukraine may become the target of a major air attack by Russia, the aim of which is to damage the country’s economy. According to military analyst Yuri Fedorov, critical railway infrastructure facilities may be particularly affected.
Fedorov notes that in August and September, about 180-190 drones were produced in Russia every day, but a significant part of them remain in warehouses. According to his observations, in the first half of September, massive drone attacks were recorded with an interval of 3-4 days. For example, on September 3, approximately 500 drones were launched over Ukraine, and on September 7, more than 800.
The expert is convinced that the increase in the number of drones indicates preparations for a large-scale strike. According to him, the Russian side is trying to focus on railways to disrupt transport and complicate logistics processes.
According to Fedorov, the main goal of the attacks is not only to harm the economy, but also to destroy industry and military transport. The expert admits that within the next ten days, Russia can accumulate up to 800 drones for a powerful attack, potentially resembling the events of September 7.
At the same time, he emphasizes that the loud statements of Russian officials about the general paralysis of Ukrainian railways are more intended to scare the population and the authorities. Ukrainians should be prepared for possible massive strikes, especially on critical transport infrastructure facilities.
