Postponement and reservation will not help: what mistake can lead to a fine from the CCC

Ukrainians should remember the key rule of military registration: failure to comply with its requirements can result in significant fines, even for those with a deferment or a reservation from mobilization.

According to the Chernihiv Regional CCC and SP, all persons registered in the military register are obliged to promptly inform of any changes to their personal data or place of residence. This is important for maintaining up-to-date information on those liable for military service and for properly organizing mobilization measures.

According to Resolution No. 1487 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, persons subject to conscription or reservists must notify the territorial recruitment center of their move within 7 days. In this case, they must have a passport and a military registration document.

In addition, changes to personal data, such as residential address, telephone number, or e-mail address, must be reported within the same 7 days. This can be done through the conscript’s electronic account or in person at the CCC.

It should be noted that failing to meet these requirements constitutes a violation of military registration rules. Failure to update data on time may result in an administrative fine in accordance with the legislation, which varies from 17,000 to 25,500 hryvnias.
