Air defense, energy and military cooperation: Zelenskyi again discussed the issue with Trump

Volodymyr Zelenskyi held another telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump, during which essential issues related to the Ukrainian air defense system, in particular the Patriot system, as well as energy cooperation between the countries, were discussed.

This is the second conversation between the leaders in the last few days. Zelenskyi described the communication as “rich and productive”. During the dialogue, the presidents reached an agreement on key areas of cooperation, including strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities and supporting energy security.

Zelensky noted that Trump is well aware of current events in Ukraine. They agreed to continue discussions, in particular, with the military teams of both countries working to strengthen defense capabilities and energy projects, particularly in the gas sector.

In his address, the president emphasized the importance of the negotiations, noting the discussion of supplying additional air defense systems and long-range missiles to the Armed Forces.

This dialogue demonstrates Ukraine’s active cooperation with the United States in defense and energy.
