“Garlic to expel demons”: Tyshchenko characterized politicians through the lens of food

In his new video, Mykola Tyshchenko compared Ukrainian politicians to various food products, but he chose the image of garlic himself, explaining that it is “to drive out demons.”

In a clip that went online, Tyshchenko took part in a humorous blitz interview, during which he answered questions about his associations with famous Ukrainian politicians.

The presenter began with greetings, to which Tyshchenko responded positively. She asked what products he associates with specific Ukrainian politicians.

People’s deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko was the first to be mentioned, whom Tyshchenko described as a “durian”—an unusual but interesting fruit in Ukraine.

Regarding the fifth president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, he compared him to a beet, explaining: “Because there is a lot of sugar.”

Tyshchenko called him “cayenne pepper” in memory of the head of the State Administration of Ukraine, Kyryll Budanov.

A People’s Deputy described Yulia Tymoshenko as a “tomato” because of her red hair.

Tyshchenko compared the Speaker of the Parliament, Ruslan Stefanchuk, to a “pumpkin”, noting that they are traditionally given at weddings.

When asked about Yuri Boyk, the deputy joked that he looked like “curly broccoli.”

When it came to Davyd Arahamiya, Tyshchenko said that his favorite dish is tobacco chicken.

Answering the question about his vision, he emphasized that he considers himself a garlic—”to drive out demons.”

A video of Tyshchenko giving a sewing machine to his grandmother in Kyiv has already appeared on the Internet, sparking a wave of comments because the value of the gift was translated as less than a thousand hryvnias. At the same time, the deputy himself recently bought a car for several million. They began to call him “Kolya the tailor jokingly.
