Heavy rains and thunderstorms are expected in Ukraine: which regions will be affected by the weather
Unstable weather is expected in Ukraine over the next three days, accompanied by significant precipitation, drops in atmospheric pressure, and temperature.
On Saturday, October 25, an atmospheric front from Western Europe will begin its movement eastward, bringing heavy rain to most regions of the country, the Ukrhydrometeorological Center reported.
At night, rain will cover Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Poltava, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions.
Thunderstorms are possible in Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions.
On October 26, precipitation will decrease: at night, rain is expected only in the west; in the afternoon, light rain is expected in southern regions.
On October 27, rain will intensify again, particularly during the day in the southeast and in the Kharkiv region.
“Warm air will remain in Ukraine tonight, but later the temperature will begin to drop,” forecasters note.
