Кінець війни в Україні може настати незабаром: у Раді озвучили нові прогнози

The end of the war in Ukraine may come soon: new forecasts were announced in the Rada

Despite the continuous massive shelling by Russia and its attempts to penetrate deeper into the territory of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada believes that the war may end in the near future – perhaps by the end of this year or early next. This was stated in a short interview by the representative of the parliamentary committee on national security, Fedir Venislavsky.

In his opinion, there is a chance of ending the conflict, but it isn’t easy to assess the extent to which these chances can be realized.

“In my opinion, there are certain chances of ending the war. However, it is tough to say how effectively they will be realized,” the parliamentarian noted.

Venislavsky also noted that Russia does not intend to stop the attacks and will continue to strike in waves, trying to exhaust Ukrainian defenses. To this end, the enemy is actively accumulating missiles, drones, and other means of destruction, preparing for new attacks.

“Moscow is trying to create an atmosphere of despair in Ukrainian society to force us to surrender. That is why the enemy will continue terrorist attacks and psychological pressure. Ukraine is ready for this,” Venislavsky stressed.

He specified that a reduction in hostilities is possible only after direct negotiations between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

As a reminder, in September, Venislavsky expressed the opinion that the war unleashed by Russia against Ukraine could end by the end of 2025. At the same time, he noted that active hostilities could stop within the next 107 days.
