In Donetsk region, “Phoenix” destroyed 11 enemy armored vehicles and more than 60 occupiers

On November 14, 2025, the Phoenix unit, together with the adjacent defense forces, repelled an enemy attack near Volodymyrivka in the Donetsk region. The attackers tried to take advantage of bad weather, in particular heavy rain, and used more than 10 armored vehicles, including tanks.

According to the unit’s press service, thanks to the coordinated work of the Phoenix pilots and other units, the enemy was forced to retreat, losing their equipment. In total, the Ukrainian border guards destroyed 11 units of heavy armored vehicles, including two tanks. Also, they took the lives of more than 60 occupiers who tried to move away from the destroyed equipment.

This battle highlights the Phoenix’s high combat readiness and the effectiveness of its interactions with other defense forces. This is not the first time that the unit has adequately responded to attacks in this region, which testifies to the professionalism and coordination of the team.

“Phoenix” performs critical tasks to protect strategically important areas, and its activities are crucial for maintaining defensive positions on the front. This successful operation once again confirms that the Ukrainian military can effectively confront the enemy, even under difficult weather conditions.

Moreover, Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented awards to two fighters of the Territorial Defense, who continuously defended positions in Zaporizhia for 165 days. Oleksandr Tishayev and Oleksandr Alikseenko received the “Cross of Combat Merit” for their steadfastness and courage on the front line.
