The Armed Forces of Ukraine report on the situation near Hulyaipol: the situation remains tense, but stable

The Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine have denied information about the alleged encirclement of Ukrainian troops in the Hulyaipil direction.

According to the Defense Forces representatives, the situation in the Hulyaipil direction remains difficult. Over the past 24 hours, the enemy has been actively shelling Ukrainian positions, and about ten combat clashes have been recorded in the Yablukve and Rivnepil regions.

Information appeared on social networks that some Ukrainian units were allegedly surrounded by the enemy, as well as about the presence of blocking detachments that are hindering the troops’ withdrawal from their positions.

The Defense Forces noted that such reports are false and serve to undermine trust in the military command.

Despite the difficult situation at the front, communication with the units remains stable. The organization of the evacuation of the wounded has been implemented, and the logistics chains are functioning smoothly.

The units defending this direction are receiving reinforcements from assault units. The command is actively monitoring the situation and implementing the necessary measures to improve the tactical situation. The Defense Forces call on journalists and citizens to rely only on verified sources of information and avoid spreading fake news that may play into the enemy’s favor.
