Ціни на овочі та фрукти змінюються як на "американських гірках": які продукти подешевшають, а які подорожчають

Prices for vegetables and fruits are changing like a roller coaster: which products will become cheaper and which will become more expensive

In Ukraine, wholesale prices for vegetables and fruits have changed, and some of the price drops have pleased buyers.

Potatoes can now be purchased for 9-12 hryvnias per kilogram, which is cheaper compared to the previous week. Some types of cabbage have also become more affordable, but white cabbage remains at 9-11 hryvnias per kilogram. At the same time, prices for broccoli have decreased slightly, and cauliflower and blue cabbage have also become cheaper.

Tomatoes continue to fall in price, and their cost now fluctuates between 45 and 60 hryvnias per kilogram. However, prices for cucumbers have risen again to 80-120 hryvnias. Garlic has become significantly cheaper, and the cost of eggplants has stabilized. Radishes have also decreased in price compared to last week.

Discounts are also evident among fruits: a pear now costs 25-65 hryvnias, and the upper limit for apples has decreased to 45 hryvnias per kilogram. Imported oranges have also become cheaper compared to the beginning of the week.

Experts explain the significant drop in prices for tomatoes and onions by the fact that some batches did not meet quality expectations due to storage and transportation conditions, resulting in a loss of about 13% in tomato value. Onions have stabilized after falling by about 15%, and their prices are still about half those of last year.
