Kyivstar announced a significant increase in tariffs

Mobile operator Kyivstar has announced changes to the terms of some tariffs. The company attributes this to a sharp increase in infrastructure costs, particularly electricity and fuel prices, driven by instability in the energy system.

According to Kyivstar, the cost of basic resources has reached a critical level, and the dynamics of electricity prices during peak consumption have increased by about 60%. Due to frequent power outages, generators are used much more often, leading to November 2025 fuel costs more than 7.5 times higher than in the summer months.

Changes in tariffs will occur in stages:
– From December 18, 2025, the update will affect part of the subscription tariffs.
– From January 1, 2026, and within several months, the changes will apply to individual corporate and contract packages.

After reviewing the terms, subscribers will receive expanded tariff options at no additional cost. If customers do not want to switch to the new conditions, they can choose another tariff in the subscription category or switch to a contract model.

The company assures that all changes will be communicated in advance. Subscribers will receive an SMS message with details, and for business customers, managers will send letters by email.

Finally, Kyivstar offers the opportunity to save on mobile communications and informs about new promotions, in particular from Vodafone and Lifecell, with recommendations for changing tariffs.
