Real estate, money and Tesla: what Tsybort from the Ministry of Economy indicated in the declaration
Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine for Digital Development Oleksandr Tsybort declared significant savings exceeding 19 million hryvnias, as well as several real estate objects, shares in foreign corporations, and the use of a Tesla car.
The official owns several land plots in Netishyn, Khmelnytskyi region, some of which were purchased at remarkably low prices:
– A plot of 309 sq. m for 117 UAH (purchased in 2013);
– A plot of 838 sq. m for 1,311 UAH (2016);
– A plot of 454 sq. m for 90 thousand UAH (2017);
– A plot of 1,000 sq. m for 78 thousand UAH (2016) – jointly owned with his wife;
– A residential building with an area of 154.5 sq. m (2015), also jointly owned with his wife.
Tsybort also declared 25% of the apartment with an area of 79.4 sq. m; the remaining shares belong to family members. The condo was purchased for 200 thousand UAH in 2016.
The owner of the apartment in Kyiv that the Tsybort family rents is Valentina Petrivna Tsybort. In addition, since 2022, the family has been renting an 86 sq. m apartment in Poland, but the expenses for this were not included in the declaration.
The official indicates that his place of residence is Ostrog in the Rivne region, but he did not declare any real estate in this city.
Tsybort does not own a car, but since 2023, he has been using a 2021 Tesla Model Y, which costs more than 1 million hryvnias. Its owner is Natalia Valeriivna Sizova.
In 2023, the official also declared shares in Tesla Inc (worth about UAH 95,000) and Shopify Inc (worth about UAH 58,000).
Tsybort’s official annual income in the Ministry of Economy was UAH 508,000, and he received another UAH 38,000 as an entrepreneur. His entrepreneurial activity, which was registered in Ostroh, is currently suspended.
His wife, Valeria, is engaged in online trading; her income for the year was UAH 9,000. In addition, she received social benefits totaling more than UAH 7,000.
Tsybort has $350,000 and €50,000 in his hands. He also has UAH 107,000, PLN 2,000, and € 2,500 in bank accounts. The wife declared $40,000 in cash and over UAH 3,000 in accounts; in total, the family has savings of over UAH 19 million.
