In Lviv region, the number of millionaires reached 1,665 people: a sharp increase in wealthy residents

The Lviv region demonstrates positive dynamics in the financial indicators of the population. The number of people with incomes exceeding one million hryvnias has increased significantly.

As of December 1, 2025, 1,665 residents in the Lviv region officially declared incomes in the million-dollar range. The Main Department of the State Tax Service of the Lviv region published this information.

Compared to the same period in 2024, the number of millionaires increased by 538 people. According to the tax service, this trend is due to business activity, salary growth across several industries, and improved financial discipline.

Experts note that the increase in the number of wealthy taxpayers benefits local budgets and contributes to community development.

In Ukraine, the number of people declaring incomes in the million-dollar range continues to grow, despite challenging economic conditions. According to the results of the 2025 declaration campaign, more than 17 thousand Ukrainians officially declared income exceeding one million hryvnias, which is 1.3 thousand people more than last year. However, the total number of declarations submitted has significantly decreased.

The total amount of income declared by millionaires reached 254 billion hryvnias. In total, citizens declared income of 474 billion hryvnias, which is 93.5 billion more than in 2024.
