A certificate is required to receive pensioner benefits.
In some situations, Ukrainian pensioners must provide a certificate of their income or pension amount to receive social support.
According to information from the Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Transcarpathia, this document can be obtained electronically via the PFU web portal, without the need to visit the institution.
To issue a certificate, follow a few simple steps. First, you need to log in to your personal account on the PFU portal, authorizing yourself in one of the following ways:
using a qualified electronic signature (QES),
a bank card,
the ID.GOV.UA service,
or through “Diya.Pidpys”.
Further actions are as follows:
In the left menu, select the “Communications with PFU” section and the “Request for receiving electronic documents” tab.
Select the “Pensioner’s income certificate” service.
Fill out the request form, indicating all required fields and the period for which the certificate is required.
Agree to the processing of personal data and click the “Send to PFU” button.
The finished certificate can be obtained in the “My requests” section in your personal account.
It is essential to specify the period for which the certificate is required at the time of processing the request, as well as the contact phone number in the format +380XXXXXXXXX.
An electronic certificate may be necessary for:
issuing social payments,
contacting social security authorities,
confirming income,
submitting documents to banking or other institutions.
It was previously reported that the insurance period must be confirmed to avoid losing the right to a pension.
It was also noted that not everyone will live to retire: the issue of pensions at 60 remains relevant.
Users were also explained why the Pension Fund may refuse to assign a pension and when it is appropriate to go to court.
