Syrsky summed up the results of the year: 418 thousand Russian soldiers and the number of our losses

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrsky, summed up 2025, noting significant achievements and challenges faced by the Ukrainian army. According to his data, Ukrainian forces destroyed more than 418 thousand Russian occupiers, including the dead and wounded, and reduced their own losses by 13%.

The military leader emphasized that the Ukrainian armed forces prevented Russia from implementing its main military plans, including the capture of Odessa and control over the right-bank Kherson region, as well as the seizure of the remaining regions of Zaporizhia, Donetsk, and Luhansk. Thanks to coordinated actions, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repeatedly thwarted the enemy’s offensive operations, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.

Syrsky noted that 2025 was a difficult test for Ukraine, as the aggressor sought to end the war in its favor. Nevertheless, he emphasized the Ukrainian army’s ability to systematically exhaust the enemy, maintain strategic positions, and prepare the ground for further military actions.

Among the main figures who emphasize the effectiveness of the Armed Forces of Ukraine:
– Russian troops lost more than 418 thousand personnel;
– The Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to reduce combat losses by 13% compared to the previous year;
– Every month, the Ukrainian military destroys more occupiers than Russia can mobilize to the front.

Oleksandr Syrsky, as Commander-in-Chief, has the authority to provide information on the operational situation at the front and to boost morale among military personnel.
