Without electricity and in snowy conditions: kindergartens prepare food outdoors
Vice Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Anastasia Konovalova, shared a video on Facebook showing how cooks at the Letycheva kindergarten in the Khmelnytskyi region prepare food outdoors using an outdoor stove. This became necessary due to a power outage, and the institution’s employees demonstrated their ability to adapt to difficult conditions.
Konovalova noted that she could not hold back tears while watching the video and expressed her admiration for the employees who know how to turn challenges into interesting and useful activities for children. She told how the day went: the cooks prepared lunches outdoors despite the frost. Their dedication and care for the children impressed everyone.
Comments under the video were full of gratitude from users, who noted that the cooks work in difficult conditions and deserve recognition for their professionalism and dedication. Many commentators emphasized the great responsibility that lies on the shoulders of kindergarten workers.
“It’s really exciting, but during such a crisis, it’s a huge responsibility! Children are fed, and parents can work peacefully. The main thing is that everyone is healthy!” – wrote in the comments. Other users added that cooks come to work at night when electricity is available and called for a review of the salaries of these workers.
