The decision of a judge of the Administrative Court of Cassation regarding the burial of the fallen soldiers caused a public outcry

A post criticizing the judicial system and specifically the decision of the judge of the Cassation Administrative Court, Andriy Rybachuk, appeared on the official Facebook page of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, which caused a wide public outcry.

The message notes that the judicial branch of government, according to the authors, has practically not undergone systemic changes since the restoration of Ukraine’s independence in 1991. The UDA notes that the functioning of the courts did not change even after the Revolution of Dignity, the war in eastern Ukraine, and the full-scale Russian invasion.

Of particular interest is the decision of Judge Rybachuk, made in the framework of an administrative case concerning the burial of deceased Ukrainian servicemen. This decision, according to the authors of the post, called into question the possibility of allocating a separate place of honor for the burial of fallen soldiers, which caused sharp criticism.

The authors of the post call such a court decision a manifestation of disrespect for the memory of the fallen defenders of Ukraine, noting that such actions in wartime can lead to destabilization in the state.

In this regard, the UDA page proposes to deprive those judges who are considered involved in such decisions of their judicial privileges and pensions, as well as to send them to the assault units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The authors of the post emphasize that everyone who is in the rear and demonstrates disrespect for the fallen soldiers must be held responsible for their actions.
