The Prosecutor’s Office and the State Bureau of Investigation conducted a search earlier this morning of a company employee over Archer purchases
On Saturday morning, around 7:00, representatives of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, together with investigators from the State Bureau of Investigation, searched the home of an Archer employee.
According to Oleksandr Yaremenko, the company’s owner, the security forces appeared without warning. Archer representatives noted that the investigators’ actions were accompanied by psychological pressure and clear procedural violations.
“It was observed that the employee was rushed to with a sledgehammer, as if counting on him being frightened and giving false testimony,” the company representatives emphasized.
According to the company, during the search, a provocative conversation took place, and mobile phones were seized. In addition, the employee’s family, including a small child, experienced significant psychological stress. It is alleged that a copy of the search report was not provided, and the opportunity to wait for lawyers was not allowed.
The company believes these actions are the result of a possible “order” from competitors dissatisfied with the choice of military units in favor of Archer products.
“We are aware that the pressure on our company and on the experts we have engaged may increase in the near future,” the company emphasized.
In its appeal, Archer also mentioned the prosecutor of the Kyiv region, Dmytro Prokudin, urging law enforcement agencies to act legally and recommending that they obtain the necessary documents through the NABU.
The company also raised questions about the effectiveness of reforming law enforcement agencies, asking when the reform of the State Bureau of Investigation will enable law enforcement agencies to work in accordance with European standards.
