A few drops: an effective way to clean the pan with fruit juice
Many homemakers often postpone cleaning old pans, even though, over time, fat deposits and soot accumulate on them. Many people believe it is impossible to restore the dishes to their original appearance, but this is not the case, according to the Express.
Old pans can be easily cleaned with an affordable tool that is available in any kitchen. An Australian blogger named Elle Kress shared an effective method for cleaning stainless steel pans that can handle even the toughest stains.
Dark spots and brown marks are caused by burnt grease, hard water, or overheating. These defects not only spoil the appearance of the dishes but also the overall impression of the cooking. To clean, put the pan on the stove, squeeze the juice of half a lemon into the bottom, pour boiling water, and turn the heat to low.
When the liquid heats up, gently run a wooden spatula along the bottom – the soot will begin to fall behind effortlessly. After that, drain the liquid and wash the pan with detergent. Citric acid helps combat pollution, restoring steel’s shine without aggressive chemicals.
Some housewives prefer to use oxygen powder, but sometimes it cannot cope with the old pollution. There is an alternative cleaning method: use a soft sponge, detergent, baking soda, and vinegar. Pour the baking soda first, then add the vinegar to start the reaction, and then clean the surface. The process will be completed with thorough washing using detergent to remove the remaining soda and the smell of vinegar.
