Компенсація для українців за виїзд за кордон: хто отримає і в якому розмірі

Compensation for Ukrainians for traveling abroad: who will receive it and in what amount

Ukraine has begun providing financial assistance to citizens who left the country on February 24, 2022, due to military operations and are still unable to return. This was reported by the press service of “Diya”.

You can receive monetary compensation via the official “Diya” portal by selecting the “Forced displacement outside Ukraine” category.

This opportunity is available to Ukrainians over 18 years old who left Ukraine as a result of aggression by Russia. Parents or legal representatives can submit applications on behalf of children. Note that having a certificate of an internally displaced person is not mandatory – it is only important to confirm the fact of forced departure.

To submit an application, you must:

– Log in to the “Diya” portal.

– Have an electronic signature, such as Diya: signature or a qualified electronic signature (QES).

– Provide information about the reasons for departure and your current situation.

Applicants are advised to describe in detail the circumstances that forced them to leave Ukraine, as well as the conditions that prevent their return. It is necessary to indicate crossing the state border, the place of stay abroad, and the information about the temporary asylum granted. If desired, you can add supporting documents and indicate if you have a second citizenship.

This financial assistance is intended to support Ukrainians currently in difficult conditions abroad, helping them cover basic living expenses, food, and other essential needs until they return to their homeland.
