Crispy country-style potatoes with a delicate and aromatic sauce: delicious, irresistible, recipe
It takes very little effort and a positive attitude to cook delicious crispy potatoes. Let’s get started!
You will need the following ingredients for cooking:
1 kg of potatoes;
1 tsp. salt;
1 tsp. paprika;
2 tsp. spices for potatoes;
2 Art. l. corn starch;
200 g of breadcrumbs;
5th century l. oils;
For the sauce, you will need:
2 Art. l. mayonnaise;
2 Art. l. sour cream;
1/4 tbsp. l. mustard;
1 pickled cucumber;
2 cloves of garlic;
salt to taste;
herbs to taste.
Preparation
First, wash the potatoes thoroughly, peel them, and cut them into slices. Pour boiling water over the potatoes and cover with a film for 20 minutes. This step is necessary to achieve the right texture and crispiness.
Drain the water and blot the potato slices with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
Add salt, spices, cornstarch, and breadcrumbs to the potatoes. Mix everything thoroughly so that each slice is covered with the mixture.
Then, put the potatoes on a pre-lined, greased baking sheet in one layer. Bake at 200 °C for 30-35 minutes without lowering the temperature. The potatoes will be very crispy and tasty.
To prepare the sauce, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, chopped pickled cucumber, grated garlic, salt, and herbs. This sauce will be a great addition to potatoes!
