Polyakova denied accusations of borrowing stage style

Olya Polyakova became the subject of lively discussions after her performance on the Music Platform. Her provocative style, in particular, glasses and leopard suit, caused a mixed reaction: some welcomed her courage, while others noted that her image resembles the style of Svetlana Loboda. The singer responded to the criticism and explained why she considers such comparisons unfair.

Recently, Olya Polyakova amazed the audience during her performance, wearing a bright outfit that included glasses, a leopard suit and a fur coat.

The reaction to her image was divided: some users admired her appearance, while others pointed out her resemblance to Loboda. In the comments, messages were left: “Loboda, this is your double”, “at first I thought it was Loboda”, “you imitate Loboda”.

In the program “Morning in the Big City” Olya Polyakova spoke about these comparisons, noting that she was surprised. She emphasized that many famous artists perform in glasses, and this does not mean that they copy each other.

The singer also added that she had not followed Svetlana Loboda’s work for a long time and was not aware of what she is currently doing and what images she chooses.

“Is it only because of the glasses? I can give examples of thousands of artists who use glasses in their performances. Secondly, to be honest, I have not seen this artist for the last five years and I do not know what she does,” Olya noted.

It is worth noting that Polyakova previously shared her experience of the unpleasantness she encountered while crossing the Polish border on the way to London.
