Klitschko announced the transfer of 5,000 FPV drones to the soldiers of the 3rd Army Corps from the capital’s community

Kyiv has already sent more than 41,500 drones of various types to the front since the beginning of the year. This was reported by the mayor of the capital, Vitaliy Klitschko, on his Telegram channel.

“Another batch of necessary assistance was sent to the front from the capital’s community. 5,000 FPV drones of various models were sent to the soldiers of the Third Army Corps. This year, we have already transferred more than 41,500 UAVs to soldiers of various units,” the mayor noted.

Klitschko also recalled that last year, UAH 1.5 billion was allocated from the city budget for the needs of the Third Corps, for which more than 12,000 drones were purchased. “On January 1, I personally transferred 12,000 FPV drones, 100 Mavic drones, 20 robotic complexes and 50 aircraft-like drones to the soldiers of the Third Corps,” he added.

It was previously reported that in 2025 the capital plans to allocate more than UAH 12 billion from the city budget to support the Defense Forces. These funds will be used to purchase drones, electronic warfare equipment, equipment and vehicles. In addition, Kyiv is implementing programs to support veterans and their families, including payments, rehabilitation of the wounded, assistance with employment and other measures.
