Журналісти BBC про вплив Буданова на відновлення роботи парламенту: "Нам, можливо, вперше не роздають команди

BBC journalists on Budanov’s influence on the resumption of parliament: “This may be the first time we are not given commands.”

The deputies expressed their opinions at a recent meeting, emphasizing that they really needed such a dialogue. After discussing the content of the draft laws, approximately 30% of the issues were resolved. As BBC News Ukraine notes, this indicates the success of the event, which was held with the participation of Budanov and representatives of the Servant of the People.

The participants of the meeting emphasize the atmosphere of trust. One of the deputies noted that the new head of the President’s Office shares a different approach to communication, which contributes to a constructive dialogue. Another representative of the monomajority noted that the new head’s style of interaction does not involve the distribution of orders, which is a new experience for the deputies. He believes that this may lead to more effective resolution of complex issues in the future.

Volodymyr Zelensky instructed Budanov to deal with communication with the parliament at the stage of his appointment, since this is one of the strengths of the new head of the OP. According to his entourage, Budanov is not inclined to micromanagement and aims to restore long-lost ties between the parliament and the presidential administration. The main goal of its work is to ensure proper cooperation between these institutions.
