Language conflict and search: what happened to Kuznetsova at the Polish border

Kateryna Kuznetsova became a participant in the scandal on the border with Poland due to a conflict with border guards. The actress spoke about the incident on her social networks, which caused discussion among her fans.

According to her, many Ukrainians face problems when crossing the border, and information about such cases is not uncommon, even for celebrities.

Kuznetsova began with an emotional post in which she hinted at which border she was dealing with. Later, the actress published a video, admitting that a conflict arose between her and the border guards due to a language misunderstanding.

“Why do I have to speak Polish? I’m going to Europe!” she asked. Kuznetsova noted that she tried to communicate in English, but the border guard insisted on Polish.

The incident occurred early in the morning, and according to the actress, her mother tried to calm her down. However, the conflict continued, as the border guard carefully checked Kuznetsova’s belongings.

The actress recalled that the border guard checked all of her suitcases and a dispute arose over the documents. The border guard representative stated that Kuznetsova’s resident card had allegedly expired, although the actress herself tried to explain that under Spanish law the document was automatically extended.

Eventually, Kuznetsova’s car was sent for an additional check, and her mother took her aside to calm her down. The situation was resolved thanks to the help of the carrier. The actress shared that similar difficulties accompany her during every trip through Poland.

She also recalled how, during a previous trip, a taxi driver demanded payment in zlotys, although she had euros with her, because Poland is part of the EU. No one had mentioned this detail to her in advance.
