The weather in Ukraine will become significantly more complicated: where to expect frost today

Today, April 24, Ukraine will experience windy weather, with rare rains in some regions, while the temperature will remain low.

Forecaster Natalka Didenko reported this on Telegram, citing data from the Ukrhydrometeorological Center.

According to her, winds will be northwesterly, with gusts of 7-14 m/s, and in some places storm gusts of up to 20 m/s are possible. “Be careful under billboards and old trees,” she noted.

The weather service warns of the arrival of a new portion of cold air from northern Europe. Today, Ukrainians can expect mostly cloudy weather with clearings. Light rains are possible in the eastern regions, in the southeast and in the Sumy region at night, with sleet in places, while the majority of the country will do without significant precipitation.

The air temperature will remain low: 2-6 degrees Celsius at night, with clearings – frost in places, and during the day the thermometer will show 6-12 degrees.

No precipitation is expected in Kyiv, but a strong north-westerly wind will persist. There is a risk of frost at night, and during the day the temperature is expected to be +8..+9 degrees.

Forecasters emphasize that significant warming is not expected in the coming days. Cold air from northern Europe continues to arrive, so frosts are possible in most regions at night. At the same time, during the day, under partly cloudy weather conditions, the air temperature will gradually increase.
