A story that shocked the country: 10-month-old Mark received a ventilator thanks to the Nadia Foundation and Valery Dubil

It became known that the boy needs a device for artificial lung ventilation, without which he cannot exist.

Valery Dubil, Vita Prysiazhniuk and the Charity Fund of the youth initiative “Hope” purchased important equipment for Mark, the cost of which is about 400 thousand hryvnias. The device has already been handed over to his family.

“We have been faced with breathing problems since birth. This is a congenital syndrome of central hypoventilation. My child needs a device that provides artificial lung ventilation during sleep,” shared the boy’s mother, Olena Gordienko.

The family had previously used the device on a temporary basis, but it needed to be returned. After more people learned about this situation, veteran Pavlo Zharikov, who saved the child, organized a fundraiser. Unfortunately, it was possible to collect only 30 thousand hryvnias, which will be used to further help Mark’s family and needs.

“We could not get past this situation. After the rescue of Mark, it became clear that the child needed constant support. We did everything we could to ensure that he received the necessary equipment,” Vita Prysiazhniuk, president of the Nadia Foundation, emphasized.

Olena shares: this help became a huge support in a difficult situation. “I heard about how Valery Dubil helps children. Now, when all attention is focused on the front, it was unexpected and touching that our problem was noticed. It’s incredible. I have tears in my eyes,” she admitted.

Partners of the fund also participated in the purchase of the device.
