Education and security priorities: a meeting was held with heads of educational institutions in the Podilsk district
The main topics of discussion were the end of the school year, children’s safety and budget planning for the next period.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, the head of the budget commission of the Kyiv City Council Andriy Vitrenko, the deputy head of the district Oleksandr Aleksandrov, the chief of staff Yulia Shpak and the head of the education department Oleksiy Sydorenko.
The participants reviewed the algorithms for the successful completion of the 2025/2026 school year under martial law and discussed the formation of the budget request for 2027, which will ensure the stable operation of the district’s educational sphere.
Security remains one of the priorities: representatives of the “Educational Security Service” of the Kyiv patrol police joined the action. Together with law enforcement officers, heads of educational institutions discussed measures to improve the protection of students and create the safest possible educational environment.
As part of the event, the best education workers of Podol were awarded. Teachers were honored for their professionalism, dedication and significant contribution to the development of science.
The head of Podilsk RDA, Volodymyr Nakonechnyi, emphasized the importance of education for the stability and future of Ukraine: “I am honored to honor people who, despite the challenges, remain faithful to their vocation. Our goal is to provide quality and safe education, and we are already working on the foundations for a sustainable future. Thank you to Mr. Andriy Vitrenko for supporting our district and paying attention to the needs of teachers.”
The meeting took place in a constructive atmosphere, which contributed to the establishment of effective cooperation between state bodies, local authorities and educational institutions of the district.
