Mobilization is experiencing difficulties: recruiting people is becoming more difficult, and CCCs are not facilitating the process

Over the past six months, Ukraine has seen a stable level of mobilization, but the process is becoming more complicated. The authorities admit that attracting new military personnel is becoming increasingly difficult, which emphasizes the trend that is developing at the current stage of the conflict.

This information was voiced by Kirill Budanov, head of the President’s Office, in an interview with the Moldovan publication “Malenkaya Strana”.

He noted that the difficulties in mobilization are not an accident. On the contrary, they are the result of prolonged hostilities – “problems with recruiting people for the front after 12.5 years of war are quite natural,” he noted.

Despite all the difficulties, the Ukrainian state is still implementing basic plans for staffing the army. However, even achieving this minimum is possible with great difficulty, the government admits.

Earlier, Budanov also emphasized that in the current conditions it is impossible to quickly solve the problems of mobilization. However, the need for new conscripts for the front remains critical, and social sentiment does not contribute to this process.

He added that a significant part of society is currently refraining from active actions: “many people are simply watching events, watching TV or reading Telegram, and do not seek to go to war.”

Thus, the issue of mobilization becomes not just a matter of statistics, but an indicator of the general state of society and its readiness for a long war.
